 HERITAGE NO : 1308 Bill Leyland is an English professional rugby league footballer who plays as a hooker for St Helens on loan from Hull Kingston Rovers. He was born on February 3, 2003, in Maidstone, Kent, and has previously played for the London Broncos and Huddersfield Giants. Leyland attended Maidstone Grammar School and graduated from St Mary's University in Twickenham. He began his rugby career with the Invicta Panthers as a junior player. His brother, Oli Leyland, is also involved in rugby league.Leyland made his professional debut in 2022 and has since established himself as a promising player in the Super League. Bill joined the Saints on loan from Hull KR and made a sensational debut against Wigan in April 2026 when he came on as a substitute and scored two tries in the last five minutes to clinch a spectacular victory. | ||||
